Dj6pac
Talk to us about 978 Recordz?
978 Recordz is a label on the come up with a lot of talent & grind. We’re just a bunch of hungry skilled people ready to make something big.

On the deejay end are you working on any new mixtapes this coming year?
Yes but as of right now we’re just focusing on the album. " NO GRIND NO SHINE "

Your musically incline, but very much into the business side as well. What can you tell us about the day-to-day process in your journey, when working on the road?
Dj6pac and LiL' Filp
I just stay focused and be humble, continue working with different people and reach different fan base

Are the clubs a heavier scene then other live events you perform in?
No, the live events are much more exciting than the clubs however the clubs are extremely joyful.

Talk to us about your new album and upcoming projects ahead?
“No Grind, No Shine” Ft. Razah , Ron Brows, Lil flip to name a few are on my album and we have a tour coming up soon we’re just locking in dates as soon as we do our album release, Overall we’re pretty much geared to making good music and having a good time.

Are you planning on going on any tours this coming year?
Yes the NO GRIND NO SHINE TOUR

Talk to us about Massachusetts and the come up out there on the music side?
Well it’s hard to make it out of Massachusetts because people don’t really support and the radio stations don’t really support, it’s rare you’d hear a local artist on the radio vs. them being played elsewhere. Most of the artists out here don’t really network with other artist out of state. You can put in the work on the Internet that’s cool but you still got to really get out there and get your hands a little dirty if you want to make it.
Dj6pac
Tell us about your new album and upcoming projects ahead?
Fire. The album is coming; we’re getting videos on TV, Collabs with bigger artist(s) and more tours and shows. The schedule for 2014 is pretty thick. We’re really gearing towards bringing the heat.

Dj6pac continues...

"I hear New England artist buying bottles in the club, stunting on their fans instead of investing in their career.  You grind you Shine. If you really want it your focus must be clear and your vision must be clear. I feel and see myself at the top every day I know where I want to be in X amount of time. I’m grinding and we’re going get there."

Overall what should fans and music heads be expecting from you 2014?
